The Elrit Castle, also known as the "Abandoned Castle" is a mentioned building structure in the main storyline of the Erion Sagas book series. The castle was a 39 year old structure building at the time of the main storyline event located in the hilly island of Elrit Forest, it was built by King Gallon in the 740s during the Titanian expansion and colonization of the Elrit Forest when the Kingdom of Titania was under King Gallon's reign at that time happened decades before the main storyline events, which was used by the four of the main playable characters as their home base during those times.

Elrit castle is a gray colored gothic like styled designed fortress structure situated on a centralized hilly island surrounded by a round river in the elrit forest, it is primarily used as a royal residence by the main playable characters as their sanctuary place except mercedes and to some supporting characters who we're their ally friends that aids them in their journey such as brom and myris who also used and have stayed in the elrit castle with gwendolyn during her stay time in the building.
The castle was bulit in 745 A.D. according to the titanian archive historical records and it was previously owned by king gallon until his army defeat with the ragnanival forces leading to his disowning of castle and retreat from the elrit forest, transferring it's ownership to demon lord odin after his forces victory in that area as a spoil of war seized property from the titanian forces and then later to oswald as a deal agreement exchange reward for killing dragon wagner in the winterhorn ridge mountains.
The first characters to use elrit castle as a royal residence and a place of sanctuary we're the valentine twins, whom we're velvet and ingway as demon lord odin offered and gave the structure to them to stay in it while the building is being under his ownership that he later retracted after ingway's betrayal to him by giving the ring titrel to the fairies and it was then later offered to oswald as a grant of reward if he do a favor of his by killing dragon wagner in the winterhorn ridge mountain as he intended to get the titrel ring from the dragon's stomach whom where velvet had secretly hid it, who gradually accepted it under the condition that he will have and marry his daughter gwendolyn that he uses as a sanctuary place for her and himself, he was the documented last owner of the elrit castle for a temporary short period of time, just shortly few moments before the armageddon event started, where the complete destruction of the castle structure eventually took place.
Historical Background[]
The castle was originally bulit by King Gallon intended as a defensive fortress or possibly as a new housing residence for their royal family, during the colonization and expansion of the Kingdom of Titania in the Elrit Forest, a war between the Ragnanival and the Kingdom of Titania broke out, the Kingdom of Ragnanival viewed that the Kingdom of Titania expansion and colonization was a threat to their sovereignty boundaries as their territorial expansion would border their country, the Ragnanival Kingdom declared a war against the Kingdom of Titania; because of this reason then the two nations fought each other in the Elrit Forest.
The Titanian Forces were subsequently outnumbered by the vast numbers of Ragnanival soldiers and thus they were defeated, forcing them to withdraw their entire forces from the area and retreat back to their kingdom and also to abandon their defensive fortress castle as a result of their defeat in the war with the aesir, the Ragnanival Forces occupied much of the Elrit Forest including the castle, Demon Lord Odin visited the Elrit Forest after the occupation of their forces in its area, then he later took ownership claim of the castle after the defeat of the Titanian Forces in the region right after of his visit there and since that he owned the castle for a period of time until he gave it to his illegitimate twin children as their new home to have a haven place of staycation after the destruction of the Valentine Kingdom then to Gwendolyn and Oswald afterwards after one of his illegitimate twin children betrayed him.
Destruction[]
The castle remained intact during the events of the main storyline until it was totally fully destroyed by the marching undead armies of the Netherworld under King Gallon's command during the second starting phase of the Armageddon event.
