Enchanting Spirit Myconid were mushroom creatures that inhabit the Ringford Forest as its native habitat alongside with the Unicorn Knights that were both domesticated by the fairies to aid them, many of these creatures worked as protectors of the fairy forest.
(This mini boss mob is exclusive to odin sphere remake called "leifthrasir" where it can be only seen and this unit cannot be found in the original version of odin sphere)

Myconids are mushroom creatures that existed as one of the native inhabitants of the ringford forests alongside with the Unicorn Knights, despite these creatures had been both domesticated, the Ringford Army have only recruited the unicorn species as one of their fighting units, these creatures we're never recruited or employed to serve in the Ringford Army, most of them only worked as guardians of the ringford forests as it's protectors.
Myconid creatures are primarily female species by its gender classification.
Whereabouts[]
These female mushroom creatures are exclusively found in the Ringford Forest Kingdom and cannot be found elsewhere in erion, they are one of the indigenous creatures of this fairy magical jungle habitat alongside with the Unicorn Knights where they can be also fought as one of the mini bosses in this location, Myconids are the natural guardians of the fairy forests and they are always fairy sided creatures despite not being part of Ringford Army, they are one of the two mob living entities from the Ringford Kingdom that do not participate in any of the battles that fairies have outside of their kingdom, the other ones we're the Lilipat Dwarves which are the non-combatant version of the dwarves that are only employed in strategical planning for the ringford military rather than a fighting unit.
Appearance Traits[]
These creatures have multiple appearances when it comes to their body shape, in their neutral state form, these are small in size and short in height, myconids usually shapeshifts into three appearances the other one aside from a small mushroom is their humanoid like body that appears to be female and their third formation is a large, bulky and giant muscular mushroom with a male humanoid body like appearance.
Their skin colors ranges from white to red, their hair color is primarily white by default, their body mostly features dark spots that can be seen around their body, these creatures also appear to wear shoes on their footings, it is unknown whether it was a their actual foot or a form of shoe clothing for their feet.
Mob Battle Characteristics[]
ESM have the ability to shapeshift into three forms, one of these forms is a female humanoid being, which gives these creatures the power to fly, from which they can shoot smaller mushrooms they can also perform powerful kicks that can deal a sizable amount of damage. The form they typically appear as is a small mushroom looking like an old man. In this form they attack by launching themselves at the player, spewing out poison or going into a defensive state and then countering when hit. While their third form is a large bulky giant muscular mushroom with a male humanoid body like, this form gives the creature a thick and powerful strength that gives it powerful attacks wide hitting attacks that can deal incredible damage.
The third form despite it gives it a great physical strength is also quite slow and has a giant hitbox allowing for attacks to land easily. as well which became the main point of its weaknesses that can easily be defeated if its opponent have agile movement in attacks, though one should take care as it has the ability to send a wave of poisonous mushrooms that can linger unless destroyed or fade away with time.
Background Story[]
These mushroom creatures are among of the first and oldest creatures in Erion that somehow existed before the continent's complete formation, their oldest fossil dates back from atleast 800 million years old, making these creatures even way older than the erion itself that existed in the place before the land's gradual transition to a continent that is now known at the time.
These creatures may have probably first existed as sea dwellers before started living out in the land, these mushroom beings have mutated overtime with the absorption of natural phozons in their environment, giving these creatures a mutation evolution that allows it to have supernatural powers, which makes it as useful living creatures to be employed as fighters in which the Ringford Army has never done so and has only assigned it to guard their kingdom homeland.
Fate Status[]
Like much of their fairy comrades, all of enchanting myconid spirits had been totally wiped out during ringford kingdom's destruction in the armageddon period of the main storyline, however their eventual wipe out in the story was unseen, all of their kind had died after the fairy kingdom's total destruction.
