The Erion Saga is a given title name for an epic poem story that was written by King Gallon which is the exact name of the entire main storyline of odin sphere game that tells the real existing fairytale story of the five legendary hero figures that fought over to save the world from the destruction that mattered into their hands, this is the exact real existing fairytale story that alice read through a group of books known as erion saga book series that she accidentally stumbled upon in the attic of their house while searching for her pet's toy that alice uses to play with her cat socrates.

Poem Story Profile[]

Erion saga is the given title name for a legendary epic poem story that was told to have been made by a legendary monarch figure named king gallon who was said to have been a king of a certain human kingdom that existed during the early medieval times known as "titania" according to the record authors of the book itself, it was later retransferred into a documenting large book that was written by an unknown author who lived at the same time and place as the 5 legendary hero figures that fought to save the world who was likely the medieval ancestor of alice who may have unknowingly presumably survived along with gwendolyn and oswald that go unnoticed rather than just the two of them that we're said to be the only survivors of the said legendary epic poem of erion saga which this story has told in it's contents, who lived and have died undocumented and this epic poem story may have simply passed with gwendolyn and oswald upon stumbling the recently made large book that cointains the entire storyline of erion saga by an unknown author in which they passed into their children and into many coming generations whom we're their descendants, this kept repeating for many centuries until it falls later into the hands of alice's grandfather who became fond of the books and so as his granddaughter alice who had the same reaction upon discovering and reading the book by herself.

However the erion saga poem story has vague details when it comes to it's authors, it is unknown who exactly have made the entire real existing fairytale story that was put into a large book that was later divided and splited into much smaller books that each contains every part of the story that can be assembled put together to form a full entire story of the erion saga epic poem, it's recorded details how it was made and the people who are behind in making the story shows that the books did not came from a regular publisher and it's exact main creators or it's splitters remains unknown, it is also speculated and generally believed that the book was written, modified and passed to each other by multiple various authors overtime.

When the erion saga book series has reached alice's grandfather hands who became fond of the books later after having and reading it, in which it may have gotten into him when he was in his early adult age, who may have simply set it aside after reading the entire story in which later the books had ended up in the attic of alice house later that was forgotten for few years until alice had accidentally stumbled upon it who happens to develop an interest in investigating after discovering the books by reading it on herself.

This epic poem accurately predicted events occurring during the Armageddon though it was written quite some time before the destruction began, this story tells how the five legendary historical figures which are the main playable characters fought to save the world from total destruction made by disastrous monsters, It was mostly passed down by word-of-mouth and so much of the original version was distorted. Hoping to learn the truth, Velvet requested the original version from King Gallon in the Netherworld. The Three Wise Men later obtained the rest, and Velvet's mentor Krois interpreted the meaning of them.

Saga Psalm 2 ‘A FIERY 6-eyed beast spreads the guiding hand of salvation

The one who removes the torment is mine own son’

The ‘6-eyed beast’ must be Darkova, the three-headed Demon Beast. This

section is based on a prophecy by a great king of Titania.

Therefore, ‘The one who removes the torment is mine own son’ is thought

to refer to the bloodline of the Titanian royal family.

And if the beast ‘feeds on man’, then most likely no human can defeat

it. But it’s unthinkable that a non-human would be king of Titania…

Unless, of course, he is as cursed as we are and is no longer human.

  • Cornelius was cursed into Pooka form and no longer considered human.

Modern English Transliteration:

Saga Psalm 3 ‘ONE that threatens the darkness is the shadow of the lost master’

Prophecy 2nd phrase

‘The unleashed frenzy of death’

Something seems odd about these phrases. Odette, Queen of the Dead,

has no master. If the ‘Lord of the Netherworld’ is not Odette, then

what being can emerge from the Netherworld? Only King Gallon, who is

chained in the Netherworld, comes to mind. Will he lead the army of

the dead to his own country…?

Having read the Psalms based on this theory, the ‘late master’ is

Odette, and the shadow that threatens King Gallon is…the shadow of

Odette?

I’ve heard that there is a swordsman who bears the shadow of death in

the Fairy Kingdom, but could that be…?

  • Oswald was the only swordsman of the Fairy Kingdom who bears the "shadow knight of death" title and he was the only one who could defeat King Gallon because of the dark curse power that possesses his psypher and this dark curse power in his weapon is considered the most powerful element for any weapon to have and the only one that can disable an immortality of any undead figure as Queen Odette were said to have powers enough to disable invulnerability of anyone including the immortal undead figures, this dark curse power in Oswald's psypher weapon Belderiver is granted by Queen Odette through Melvin's deal in exchange for his soul for the purpose of creating an elite group of soldiers carrying with the same weapon that are duplicated in high numbers for increasing the power and strengthening the Ringford Military Forces.

Saga Psalm 4 ‘THE looming blaze cometh, burning down the forests

THE flood of fire that man cannot withstand is halted by the world tree

and vanishes’

Evidently, King Onyx’s army from the Fire Kingdom will sweep the land

at Armageddon.

The Saga states that mankind cannot resist, but ‘the world tree’

destroys the army.

Yet, this ‘world tree’ exists only in myth. There is no such tree in

the world.

The second clue is in the prophecy:

‘Scorches the throne’s surroundings…’

Does that mean that the throne itself does NOT get scorched? If so, it

could be suggesting that the one on the throne is able to face the

flames…

  • Mercedes is the only active member of royalty out of the main characters by the time of the Armageddon. Her true name is Yggdrasil, meaning "World Tree". Mercedes was the world tree predicted in the prophecy who is destined to destroy and stop Onyx the Vulcan King of the Volkenon Lava Pits and his army people.

our king will trigger it.

stopped

IT can only be chained’

The weapons that can destroy the Cauldron are Psyphers, and something

that is not a blade nor an arrow can ‘chain’ it.

We are newcomers to this land, so we are not of the ‘ancient blood’.

The one who controls the Cauldron is a Valentinian who holds a Psypher

made of chains.

In other words, this must be Mistress Velvet.

  • Krois was most specific with this one, and was completely correct. Only Velvet can properly disable the Cauldron and not to destroy it.

Modern English Transliteration:

If the baby dragon Master Cornelivs saw is Leventhan, as the king

said, then it will be an eternity before it matures and devours the

world.

It is written that the dragon’s growth is slow, yet inevitable.

Saga Psalm 5

BORN in chaos and fire

SLEEP in mother’s arms

What is the ‘mother’ that puts the Lord of Snakes to sleep?

With the dragons Hindel, Wagner, and Belial gone, it is unlikely that

the mother is a dragon. Then what is the mother in the Psalms?

In the Prophecy, the phrase ‘devours the stone of blood’ can be taken

to mean a red magic stone created in the Cauldron.

Even if Leventhan can be stopped by the red stone, the Armageddon

cannot be stopped. The Demon Lord must have made Balor in anticipation

of this.

  • The Mother spoken of here most likely refers to the person who will repopulate the world, in other words, Gwendolyn, as she is also the person to put Leventhan to "sleep" or destroy him.
  • It should also be noted that Velvet refers to the Cauldron as, "the mother of the world" when she activates it and returns the absorbed Phozons to Erion. Thus, Leventhan "sleeps" inside of it when it first activated by Valentine.

The last psalm explicitly states that the world will be revived.

The Demon Lord and the Magi have taken this to mean that whoever

survives Armageddon will become the new king of the world.

The Demon Lord wrought victory through wars, and the mages tried to

control the Armageddon directly. Yet, they were all mistaken. The two

lords that survive will be chosen from the five challengers of the

disasters.

Modern English Transliteration: The two lords are said to be crownless. I suspect that ‘lord’ is not

meant to suggest royalty, but something else. Finally, here is the

conclusion and my findings.

This is conjecture, but from Psalm 5:

‘LIFE disappears from the land

ALL comes to an end’

One can only imagine a barren world, with a tiny population.

By ‘crownless lords’, could this mean the ancestors of mankind in the

New World?

If so, it will by necessity have to be two humans, a man and a woman.

Then we can presume that the mother in Psalm 5 can be understood as:

“The one who defeats Leventhan becomes the mother of the New Word…”

Everyone other than the two humans will perish.

How can this be in any way considered salvation? I hope that I have

misunderstood the prophecies.

  • Krois was not completely correct here, Velvet and Cornelius also survive the Armageddon, though they were both cursed as Pookas during the main story plotline for Cornelius while Velvet only became Pooka at the very end of the Armageddon event and therefore they are not considered humans anymore since their transformation at that time.

Wise Men's Prophecy[]

There is a theory about the prophecy of the Armageddon, left behind by the Three Wise Men.

The following pages are an except from this literature.

...via a secret rite performed by the now-lost Valentinians.

King Gallon has turned into the 3-headed Demon Beast.

As in the prophecy, King Gallon will save the world.

The 'Lord of the Netherworld' in the Saga is Queen Odette.

The 'looming blaze' is the Inferno King Onyx.

If the King of Titania release his mystic power,

overpowers the other nation,

and seizes the Cauldron,

the Netherworld and the Fire Kingdom will go to war,

the three great dragons will be eradicated,

and the End shall come to us.

But fear not.

The world will be saved in the end by the arrival of the new king, led by a guiding hand...

The original manuscript written by the Three Wise Men cannot be found.

It must be mentioned that their theory is only an assumption based on the prophecy.

Trivia[]

  • The main storyline event of Erion Saga refers to the events of Ragnarok storyline in the old norse mythology culture.
    • The popularity of ragnarok epic poem in old norse mythology was actually a reference to the prominence popularity time period of the scandinavian kingdoms and tribes that gave them fame in the continent of europe due to the immense of brutality and conquering methods of their people as they wage war on each other's kingdom, which took place in mid 8th century, this could be a reason why the game was intended to be set on the 8th century because it was based on the actual timeline period occurrence of the epic poem's popularity through out europe.
      • according to the ragnarok epic story, the world rebirthed after it's almost total destruction and the perish of all people on earth, except the two chosen people with opposite genders on each other, however this story is purely fictional and no such thing ever happened in the actual real life history, in reality, according to the actual historical records of the epic poem story that was based on a real event that came from the national archives department of sweden, the true meaning of the epic poem story was actually far from it, it was based on the brutal fight of the scandinavian kingdoms of each other where almost all of the people of each kingdom we're killed, then two kingdom remained intact and undefeated despite suffering heavy losses on both sides as they became the only two surviving kingdoms after the final fight, the prince from one of the scandinavian kingdom and a princess from another scandinavian kingdom whom both of these kingdom where both of these figures came from are enemies to each other, these two people with opposite genders with one another got married to each other in order to offer friendship to the other of their kin kingdom nation which was considered as an enemy to the fellow scandinavian kingdom that offers this marriage as both of their figures with opposite genders fell in love with each other and symbolize peace between the two remaining scandinavian kingdoms that both left undefeated despite of many clashes and left many of their people dead from the war, and both kingdom gradually accepted the marriage of their figures to ensure peace and friendship with one another and also to stop the war between them, since there was so many of their people got killed during the war from both of the two remaining scandinavian kingdoms whom are enemies to each other back then before marriage for peace and friendship, many scandinavians would remark on this tragical war and many of them also thought that it was the end of the world for them because of this high deaths from the war that both kingdoms sustained as almost all of them perished, since it affected deeply a bit for most of scandinavians, they decided to write this written record event as an epic poem to make it more interesting, capture more feelings and impact more emotions to cause more enthusiasm for anyone who will be reading this epic poem story, this written record event was mentioned in the written historical documentary records that dates back from the 14th century (1300s) and written record event was probably rewritten as an epic poem story in the 14th century during at the time of kalmar union.
        • This rewritten to epic poem story real historical event was later adopted into many children books that we're mostly created in the mid late 1800s (1850-1880) and some novel drama books such as The Ring of the Nibelung by Richard Wagner both of most of these books we're made in germanic scandinavian languages (Danish, Swedish and Norwegian) and west germanic German Language that we're later re-adopted into English Language of which became famous books in english speaking countries such as United Kingdom, Canada and the United States where both most of these books achieved popularity in english speaking countries that became the main source of inspiration for the creation of Odin Sphere game.
        • the poetic edda also have mentioned this brutal battle war fight event including it's marriage occurrence that was done for peace friendship between the two kingdoms that fought each other that resulted in many deaths of their people in a very detailed manner, this poem is one of the two main source of this historical event alongside with the other history book that was written during the kalmar union period, it could be also another key for main understanding for the source origin of the story that largely inspired the erion saga how it was portrayed in this poem which is the name of the entire main storyline of odin sphere.
  • This epic poem story takes place in 784 A.D. during the early medieval period era, the year plot setting is based on the prominence of the scandinavian history through out europe such as their kingdom's waging conflicts with one another earning popularity through out europe and the notoriety of the vikings due to their notable piracy in the north sea as they both engage in pillage and plunder against their fellow vikings from other scandinavian kingdom and from nearby kingdom in north sea such as the saxon england and the netherlands.
  • old norse language has no any living speakers today, it is an extinct language, however it's other kin sibling languages such as danish, swedish, norwegian are still spoken today all of these languages have speakers around 18 million people if all combined, and their another one more member is the icelandic language, the least spoken of all major germanic languages today, suprisingly, this language is the closest of all scandinavian languages if compared to old norse language, icelandic language changed very little in it's history because of icelandic's isolated geography from the rest of europe, since icelandic language did not really had any significant major changes, icelandic language still retains the way of spelling and grammar of the old norwegian language, the language where icelandic directly descended as iceland was settled by germanic europeans sailing from norway in the early 8th century, and at that time, norwegian language still resembles the old norse language spelling and grammar, and since icelandic change very little through it's history making it the scandinavian language with the highest intelligibility in comparison with old norse language, any speakers of icelandic language can still read text that dates back from atleast 10th century with ease, compared to other scandinavian languages that changed overtime in history because their geography is not isolated, these all became diverged and lowered their mutual intelligibility with old norse language as these languages receive modernization through out history while icelandic did not, retaining it's ancient features.
