Master/Mentor Krois is a supporting character in the main storyline of erion saga book series, he is a valentine old scholar citizen and former human who was transformed into a Pooka during the disaster that destroyed Valentine. He is the teacher of the valentine twins from their childhood and continues to guide the former in her quest to prevent Armageddon.
Profile Overview[]
Krois is an elderly being and the oldest of any surviving pooka, he is known for his intelligence, wisdom and kindness. He is eager to teach and was also very kind to Velvet and often worried for her safety. He would later play an integral part of the story as he would be the only individual to accurately and correctly deduce the truth of the prophecy concerning Armageddon.
He is a scholar teacher that helps younger people with some of the tips he know to give a little improvement over a situation and make their lives much better by following some of the tips he had given to them as his form of help to the people who has in need of his advices, velvet and ingway is one of the people he had helped, he is also velvet's childhood teacher, her and ingway we're both taught by krois with the propecies when they we're still young.
Krois is a poetic analyzer, he is good at understanding mystery notes, for example, he is able to understand the teachings of king gallon and his predictions in the note of the propecies that he actually analyzed and interpreted it very well and only had one mistake as he guessed that velvet and cornelius would die at the very end of the armageddon which actually never happened as they we're able to survive the armageddon period.

krois is an elderly pooka creature with a color of a violet/purple skin, he has 2 large ears in his head, like any other pookas.
Personality Classification[]
Master Krois is a kind old man who is dedicated to knowledge and history, while he was always up for a debate he knew when other's weren't seeking a debate and just wanted to bulldoze people such as when Skuldi tried to 'debate' their ideologies. He was also very cautious and hated when Velvet was reckless or took risks, despite his caution though he was also quite brave as when surrounded by Goblins he told Velvet to run away and when injured told her to not worry about him. He is also quite determined, in his final hours he spent alot of time reading and deciphering the truth of the prophecy even though such an action led to his death.
Background Story[]
before the start of the game's main events he used to teach velvet as a mentor during his younger days, he also acts as her advisor even after she became adult, he is considered as one of intelligent characters in the game.
Plotline Summary Perspective[]
Master Krois first appeared in the story in Velvet's book story perspective side where he was explaining to her about the prophecy telling of the worlds end of how it the five disasters. A monster, a fire, a king of death, a cauldron and finally a dragon. He tells that Valentine also had a similar prophecy to which Velvet iterates that she and Ingway were taught them when they were younger. Krois would sadly state how he had no answer on how to save the two from their mother's supposed 'curse' that was 'cast' on them. It is then that Skuldi would appear belittling Krois saying any instructor and they would guard their words to comfort their pupil. He would then continue on how the prophecies were older than Valentine itself and would insult the kingdom by calling it less enlightened angering Krois. Skuldi would continue that Gallon had written the prophecy in a series of epic poems.
Velvet would ask where they are to which Krois would answer that the Psalms have been scattered and lost. He adds in that one has been passed via word of mouth but it's vague. Skuldi would use this moment to insult Krois again stating that all 'wise men' respect honesty. Krois quickly realizes that Skuldi is not debating but looking to bulldoze and insult him. Skuldi mocks Krois further and Krois decides to leave the argument entirely not wanting to deal with Skuldi's insults and mockery.
After being injured by Goblins sent by King Valentine, Master Krois locked himself in his study and began to decipher the prophecy of Armageddon using both the Pslams and poems as reference. He would leave his study to find Velvet but due to his injures he would be found lying on the ground over the pooka village. He would give Velvet a letter of his interpretation of the prophecy which would end up being the absolute correct interpretation of the prophecy an act that would have galled the Three Wisemen if they had still been alive. He then succumbs to his wounds and dies.

Princess Velvet of the Valentine Kingdom[]
As her mentor he taught her the history of Valentine and also taught her the prophecy psalms. He was very concerned with her safety so much so that he would be upset hearing her putting herself in danger. He was also very respectful to her and while he urged caution he did not scold her heavily for her reckless behavior. Before he died he would entrust his interpretation of the prophecy directly to her, and would give her the key advice needed to saving the world.
Prince Ingway of the Valentine Kingdom[]
While he does not extensively interact with Ingway it's safe to assume he also cautions and teaches Ingway similar to how he teaches and cautions Velvet.
Skuldi the Red Sorcerer[]
Though brief their introduction is quite an intense bout, when Krois began speaking of the prophecy Skuldi would rouse him into a 'discussion' however Krois was able to quickly deduce that Skuldi didn't want to 'debate' but wanted to bulldoze him. As such he walked away from such a interaction bidding Skuldi good day, despite Skuldi calling him a fool and unwise Krois would end up deciphering the prophecy something that would have galled Skuldi had he been alive at the time.
Prince Cornelius of Titania[]
Master Krois teaches Cornelius the history of Valentine helping him understand better the pooka situation and the truth of Velvet. But apart from this they do not interact much.
Myris[]
She was his daughter and often to look after her sometimes but that was gone quickly after his death leaving her daughter on her own.
Meril[]
As her father he cares deeply for Meril and does what he can for her. However when he set about deciphering the prophecies he shut himself off from her to focus on deducing the truth of the prophecy.

Trivia[]
- According to some Japanese sources, he was probably a reference to the European version of Confucius, as him and Krois are both teachers and philosophers in their roles and they also both have apprentice below among them, although Confucius had scholar disciples as his apprentices, Master Krois had his monarch nobles Valentine Twins as his only apprentices as he was their mentor.
