The Netherworld Shrine is a crystal temple located in the further north west of the Netherworld, it is the main hub of this lifeless lair and its most sacred place, this place serves as room gathering for the haljas and as a home residence for Queen Odette, the dead queen of the Netherworld.
Location Overview[]
Netherworld Shrine is a large temple pillar ruins which is considered as the main building hub of the netherworld, it is the place where the throne seat of the undead monarchy is located, this area serves the royal residence home for Queen Odette and eventually later for King Gallon during the Armageddon event for a temporary short period of time, the Netherworld Palace only features a ruin temple building with only pillars without walls, but it featured a throne seat but it is not shown during the battle state of the map when fighting a main boss in this area, its flooring are mostly made of skulls and crystal, this location is sometimes being used by Demon Lord Odin as a crystal farm where he gathers crystals and use it to create psyphers.
Design Appearance[]
Like the Inferno King's Shrine or the Ringford Palace it is an open arching structure that do not feature any walls or doors but rather only supporting columns, the Netherworld Shrine is a ruin structure that is almost identically similar to the Inferno King's Shrine with only color differences and the ambience features that can be seen around the palace, rather than molten stone ruins that can only be seen in the monument of the Fire Kingdom, the Netherworld Shrine is covered in blue crystals which is harvested by Demon Lord Odin for the creation of the psypher weapon using the crystal as its main blade and its flooring is covered in skull bones, the main feature design of ruin structures of the Netherworld Shrine is identically similar to those of the valentine kingdom structure ruins with only shade colors being different, the shade color of the Netherworld Shrine appears to be pale while the ones in the ruins of the Valentine Kingdom Palace appears to be in standard white or in yellow that might only be a light reflection of the sun through the desert terrain of the ruined kingdom.
Structure Backstory[]
It is unknown when the Netherworld Shrine was constructed but based on the geological test of the structure's made materials, the structure dates back from 300 million years ago, indicating that the monarchy of the undead in the Netherworld may had been existing for a very long time even during the time of the dinosaurs and before the main storyline events due to the measured age of the Netherworld Shrine making it the oldest existing structure at the time, the builders of this structure were not known, but since the shrine appears to be a magical structure.
It can be speculated it may had been constructed using magic power methods and was ruined on intended purpose or it may fell into disrepair on itself for the long time it existed, none of these two theories are truly accepted and its current appearance at that time and it's formation time is still unknown how it came to existence, the first record of this area was during Demon Lord Odin's first visit to collect some samples of crystals to use it as a forging craft for a powerful psypher, the Netherworld Shrine has no any other records from anyone in Erion older than his visit and King Gallon's overthrow to the Netherworld after his death.
Structure Fate[]
The Netherworld Shrine status is unknown after the Armageddon event but it can be assumed that it remained intact due to the fact that the undead crystal palace is located on a different dimension of the world, but it is unknown if it had another ruler after King Gallon's total death in the Armageddon during the former King of Titania's successful siege on the Kingdom of Titania at the time.
